Living with M.S.

"Living with M.S. is sort of like training for a long race. The harder you try, and the longer you keep at it, the stronger you become.
Eventually, looking back, you may be amazed at the power you possessed, even when you had no idea it was within your reach." (Linda Ann Nickerson)

Hey, MS moviemakers! Wanna win a cash prize?

Got a videocamera? How about a smart phone with video capabilities? Are you interested in making a YouTube video about a neurological condition?

Why not enter the Neuro Film Festival?

This video contest focuses on what life with a neurological condition looks like. Do you have (or have you had) Alzheimer’s, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), epilepsy, multiple sclerosis (MS), Parkinson’s, stroke, a traumatic brain injury, or another brain or nervous system condition? Or do you know someone who does?

Why not tell the story and possibly win a grand prize of $1,000, plus a trip to Washington, D.C., for the winning video’s premiere at the Neuro Film Festival during the American Academy of Neurology’s 67th Annual Meeting? The second-place winner will be awarded $500 and a trip to the event.

Entries are due February 25, 2015, for the Neuro Film Festival.

The 6th Annual Neuro Film Festival, hosted jointly by the American Brain Foundation and the American Academy of Neurology, is open to anyone. The video contest is aimed at raising awareness for neurological conditions and drawing public attention to the need for more medical research in these areas.

"MS is all in my head? You bet it is!"
Available on hoodies, hats, tees, tops, totes, and more

Good luck, MS moviemakers!
