Living with M.S.

"Living with M.S. is sort of like training for a long race. The harder you try, and the longer you keep at it, the stronger you become.
Eventually, looking back, you may be amazed at the power you possessed, even when you had no idea it was within your reach." (Linda Ann Nickerson)

Never give in.

Dogged determination isn’t listed on any expert medical roster of symptoms of multiple sclerosis. But I’m pretty sure most of us have it.

Maybe this quote will give you a lift today, if you need it. Don’t we all?

"Never give in. Never give in. Never, never, never, never – in nothing, great or small, large or petty – never give in, except to convictions of honour and good sense."

Winston Churchill (1874-1965)

Pretty sure the late British statesman Winston Churchill did not have M.S.  and that he was talking about an entirely different sort of challenge when he said this.

But doesn’t his statement ring true for any who battle daily with ongoing and particularly trying medical conditions?

Don’t give in. Don’t give up.

We got this thing.
