Multiple sclerosis can make a person a little shaky
sometimes. Limbs may take on minds of their own. Without warning, a hand or a
foot or a shoulder or some other body part starts to tremble. It quakes. It quivers.
It twitches. It shivers. And it’s not even cold.
Something’s a-shakin’
– and it sure ain’t the earth.
That’s what MS tremors feel like. This unpredictable and
uncontrollable quavering may abate within a few moments, or it may persist for
days.
It’s just one more way the MS MonSter causes the body to
betray itself. It’s not exactly painful, but it’s definitely disconcerting
while it lasts.
